Around 30 people were injured in a Russian missile strike on a residential building in Kharkiv, northeastern Ukraine, including a six-month-old baby. Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported significant damage to the building, with 16 injured people taken to hospitals. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described the attack as “hideous” and accused Russia of killing regardless of international peace efforts. Moscow, for its part, accused Kyiv of a drone attack in the Kherson region, resulting in 27 deaths, warning of “consequences”.
