Το Υπουργείο Άμυνας ανακοινώνει ότι σήμερα παρέλαβε το πόρισμα της έρευνας που διεξήχθη στο πλαίσιο του Γενικού Επιτελείου Εθνικής Φρουράς, αναφορικά με την υπόθεση απώλειας εκρηκτικών υλών σε Πεδίο Βολής, κατά τη διάρκεια εκπαιδευτικής δραστηριότητας.
Η ολοκλήρωση της διαδικασίας αυτής αποτελεί ουσιαστικό και αναγκαίο βήμα για την αντικειμενική και τεκμηριωμένη καταγραφή των γεγονότων και τη διαλεύκανση των συνθηκών κάτω από τις οποίες έλαβε χώρα το περιστατικό.
Το πόρισμα εντοπίζει συγκεκριμένες παραλείψεις και ευθύνες, οι οποίες θα αντιμετωπισθούν στο πλαίσιο των εσωτερικών κανονισμών της Εθνικής Φρουράς.
Επισημαίνεται ότι έρευνα που διεξάγεται στο πλαίσιο της Αστυνομίας Κύπρου βρίσκεται ακόμα σε εξέλιξη.
