A serious traffic accident occurred in Limassol, resulting in a 7-year-old girl being hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit. According to the police, the 41-year-old driver of the car lost control due to dizziness and collided with a parked vehicle and a wall. The driver sustained minor injuries and was kept in the hospital for precautionary reasons before being discharged. Two children were also in the car: the 13-year-old son with minor injuries and the 7-year-old daughter, who suffered a fracture of the left wrist and a mesenteric rupture with internal bleeding. The 7-year-old girl was rushed to Makarios Hospital and is being treated in the ICU, but her condition is out of danger. Police are investigating whether the children were wearing seat belts or using a special child seat. The circumstances of the accident remain under investigation, with police examining all possible causes.
