Cypriot Finance Minister to Attend Eurogroup and Preside over ECOFIN

Makis Keravnos, the Minister of Finance of Cyprus, will travel to Brussels on January 18, 2026, to participate in the Eurogroup meeting and preside over the Council of Economic and Financial Affairs (ECOFIN) on January 19 and 20. The Eurogroup agenda includes updates on Bulgaria's Euro adoption process, discussions on the Eurozone's economic priorities, and information on the meetings of the G7 Finance Ministers. The ECOFIN will discuss the economic impact of the war in Ukraine and adopt revised Recovery and Resilience Plans for several countries.
