Trade Unions to Submit Memorandum and Request Meeting with President

The trade unions SEK, PEO, and DEOK are preparing a joint memorandum outlining various labor issues, which they will submit to the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, and are requesting a meeting with him. The memorandum will cover topics such as the minimum wage, the EU directive on collective bargaining, and the criteria for employing workers from third countries. Simultaneously, a meeting will be held within the Labor Advisory Board, with the participation of the Minister of Labor, trade union organizations, and employers. The unions aim to discuss and resolve labor problems.
