62-Year-Old Arrested in Connection with Arson Case in Paphos

The Paphos Police have arrested a 62-year-old man to facilitate investigations into an arson case that occurred last night in Paphos. Around 8 pm, a fire broke out in a car owned by the 62-year-old in a village in the province. The fire was extinguished by a local resident before the arrival of the Fire Service, but caused significant damage to the vehicle. The scene of the incident was examined by the Police and various pieces of evidence were collected for laboratory analysis. The investigation revealed testimony implicating the 62-year-old owner of the car, resulting in the issuance of an arrest warrant. The case is being investigated by the Paphos TAE. The arrest of the suspect is an important step in solving the case and bringing justice.
