Mount Taygetus Rescue Operation Completed – Climbers Transferred to Hospital

The rescue operation of four climbers trapped in a snowy ravine on Mount Taygetus, at an altitude of 2,000 meters, has been successfully completed. The rescue effort was challenging and lasted several hours, as rescue teams had to contend with extreme weather conditions and difficult terrain. The climbers, one of whom was injured, were transferred to a hospital for further medical care. The operation involved firefighters from the 6th EMAK, the 9th and 6th EMODE, the IKAPOS team, and volunteers.
