The film 'Hold onto me' by Myrsíni Aristéidou is the first Cypriot film to be screened at the Sundance Film Festival, one of the most important independent film festivals in the world. The film, a family drama, deals with the father-daughter relationship and the need for forgiveness and second chances. It stars 11-year-old María Pétrova, with Greek actor Christos Pasallís as a co-star. The premiere will be held on January 26th in Park City, Utah, in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition section.
