New Kia EV2 Brings Kia Expertise to the B-SUV Category

Kia has unveiled the new EV2, a fully electric B-SUV that will be manufactured in Europe and represents the most accessible model in Kia's electric lineup. The EV2 will be available with two battery options (42.2 kWh and 61.0 kWh) offering a range of up to 448 kilometers (WLTP). The new model combines cutting-edge technology with advanced safety and connectivity systems, such as Highway Driving Assist 2, Front Collision Avoidance Assist 2.0, and Smart Cruise Control 2. It also features advanced infotainment options with a triple screen and over-the-air (OTA) update capability. The EV2 is based on Kia's experience in electric mobility and incorporates the “Opposites United” design philosophy, with dynamic elements and an open cabin inspired by the “Picnic Box” concept. Despite its small exterior dimensions, it offers a spacious cabin. Kia aims to broaden the brand's appeal to a wider European audience with the EV2, offering an affordable and practical electric SUV. The production of the EV2 in Europe underscores Kia's commitment to local production and electrification.
