Turkish Media: Cypriot Flight Attendant Questioned by MIT Over Libyan Plane Crash

A Cypriot flight attendant linked to the crash of the Libyan plane in Ankara has been questioned by Turkish MIT and released. According to Turkish media reports, the investigation did not reveal any “concrete” evidence against her, but the investigation of her contacts and connections continues. The flight attendant was brought in from the hotel where she was staying, following initiatives by MIT and an order from the Ankara Public Prosecutor's Office. The case is being jointly investigated by the judiciary, police and intelligence services, while the plane's “black box” will be examined in the United Kingdom. Questions remain about the use of a private plane by the Libyan delegation and the changes in the flight crew.
