Elderly Woman Hospitalized After Kitchen Fire
An elderly woman was taken to Kyperounta Hospital as a precaution after a fire broke out in an outdoor kitchen in the community of Kalopanayiotis. The fire was extinguished by a neighbor with a fire extinguisher before the arrival of the Fire Service, but the woman felt unwell due to panic. The fire was caused by a forgotten lit candle.
