Fire in House in Kalopanagiotis Caused by Forgotten Candle. Elderly Woman Hospitalized as a Precaution

A fire broke out in an auxiliary kitchen outside a house in Kalopanagiotis, causing extensive damage. The fire was extinguished by a neighbor using a fire extinguisher before the arrival of the Fire Service. The cause of the fire was a forgotten lit candle. The elderly owner felt unwell due to panic and was taken to Kyperounta Hospital by ambulance as a precaution. Her health condition is not a cause for concern.
