Truckload of 12 Tons of KitKat Chocolate Stolen in Europe

A truckload of 12 tons of Nestlé KitKat chocolate was stolen while being transported across Europe, the brand warned, cautioning that the theft could lead to shortages in stores as Easter approaches. The shipment, containing 413,793 units of chocolate, disappeared last week while traveling between production and distribution facilities from Italy to Poland. The company warns that the theft could lead to a shortage of KitKat on store shelves and that consumers may have difficulty finding their favorite chocolates before Easter. The company is working with local authorities to recover the truck and its cargo, while it has the ability to identify stolen products through their unique batch codes. Nestlé warns that the stolen chocolates could end up on the black market.
