Iranian-Linked Hackers Breach FBI Director's Email, Leak Materials Online

Hackers linked to Iran have breached the personal email of FBI Director Chris Patel and leaked photos and other documents online. The group, known as Handala Hack Team, claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that Patel would become a "victim" like others. Justice Department officials confirmed the breach and the authenticity of the leaked materials. Handala is considered by Western researchers to be a group used by Iranian government cyber-espionage units. Recently, the group took responsibility for breaching Stryker, a medical device and services company, claiming to have deleted a large amount of corporate data.
