62-Year-Old Arrested for Attempted Car Arson in Paphos

A 62-year-old man has been arrested in Paphos following a court warrant, to assist in investigations into a case of arson. Last night, around 8 pm, the man's car was set on fire in a village in the province. A passerby managed to extinguish the fire before the Fire Service arrived, however the vehicle sustained extensive damage. Police examined the scene and collected evidence for scientific analysis. Testimony that emerged from the investigations led to the arrest of the vehicle owner.
