Anxiety Over Holy Fire: Israel's Plan for How It Will Happen
There is anxiety regarding the holding of the Holy Fire Ceremony in Jerusalem amid the ongoing war. Israeli authorities are taking measures to ensure the smooth conduct of the ceremony on Holy Saturday, but there is also a possibility of cancellation. The main issues that need to be resolved are the completion of work on the temple, the availability of shelter in the event of a bombing, and ensuring absolute security. Entry will be allowed to only 50 people inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and a special permit is required for the presence of people. The final decision will be made on April 1st.
