Bad Weather Ahead - Successive Low-Pressure Systems to 'Hit' Cyprus

Cyprus is expected to be affected by successive low-pressure systems from tonight until Sunday, with local rains and isolated thunderstorms. The Meteorological Department anticipates the issuance of a yellow warning for strong thunderstorms tomorrow, mainly in the interior and mountainous areas. The first low is moving from Egypt, followed by a second from the west. The weather will be unstable with intermittent rains and a possibility of snow in the higher mountains. The temperature will be around 20-22 degrees Celsius today, with a slight drop in the next 24 hours. A warning has already been issued for strong winds along the coasts.
