Betting Sector Continues to Show Strong Economic Footprint

The National Betting Authority announced the financial results for the third quarter of 2025, which show a consistently upward trend in the betting sector. Gross revenues of Class A (land-based betting) and Class B (online betting) acceptors increased by 7% compared to the same quarter of 2024, reaching €312,481,873. The increase compared to the third quarter of 2023 is even greater, reaching 20%. Revenues from online betting (Class B) increased significantly, while player winnings and betting payouts also increased, albeit at a slower pace. At the same time, efforts to block illegal betting websites continue, with their number reaching 21,825.
