Chrystalla Kypris Passes Away – Grief at the Department of Antiquities

The Department of Antiquities mourns the loss of Chrystalla Kypris, former Senior Technician in the conservation of antiquities, who passed away at the age of 65. Chrystalla Kypris served with dedication in the field of conservation for decades, having studied in Toulouse, France, and joined the Department in 1988. She worked in the Conservation Laboratories of the Cyprus Museum in Nicosia, conserving significant archaeological finds. She was known for her collegiality, bright smile, and kindness, and her contribution is considered an important legacy for the archaeological heritage of Cyprus. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, January 22nd, at the Archangel Michael Church in Kaimakli.
