In January, the price index of construction materials recorded an increase of 0.12% compared to the previous month
The Price Index of Construction Materials for January 2026 reached 118.89 units (base year 2021=100), recording an increase of 1.09%, compared to the same month of the previous year, according to the Cyprus Statistical Service on Wednesday.
By main commodity category, CyStat said, increases were observed in minerals (2.91%), electromechanical products (2.55%), products of wood, insulation materials, chemicals and plastics (1.19%) and mineral products (0.97%), whereas a decrease was recorded in metallic products (-0.49%).
In January, the price index of construction materials recorded an increase of 0.12% compared to the previous month.

Ο δείκτης τιμών των οικοδομικών υλικών τον Ιανουάριο του 2026 καταγράφηκε αύξηση 1,09% σε σύγκριση με τον ίδιο μήνα του προηγούμενου έτους. Σε μηνιαία βάση, η αύξηση ήταν 0,12%. Οι μεγαλύτερες αυξήσεις παρατηρήθηκαν στα ορυκτά (2,91%), τα ηλεκτρομηχανολογικά προϊόντα (2,55%), τα προϊόντα ξύλου, τα μονωτικά υλικά, τα χημικά και τα πλαστικά (1,19%) και τα ορυκτά προϊόντα (0,97%), ενώ μείωση καταγράφηκε στα μεταλλικά προϊόντα (-0,49%).
