Cyprus Not Involved in Military Operations, Remains on High Alert

The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, assured that Cyprus is not involved in any military operations but remains on high alert due to the regional crisis. Cyprus is offering assistance to foreign countries for the safe evacuation of their citizens from the region, functioning as a hub of stability and humanitarian aid. The President emphasized the support of Greece, which sent fighter jets and frigates, and acknowledged the need for strengthened cooperation with the EU and other states. He also referred to the consequences of the Turkish invasion and occupation, as well as the importance of European integration for the liberation and reunification of Cyprus.
