Cyprus Police Conduct Raids, Make Seven Arrests

The Cyprus Police conducted extensive preventative operations across the island overnight, aiming to prevent criminal activity and maintain public order. A total of seven individuals were arrested during the operations. In Paphos, four were arrested in connection with animal abuse and one for burglary. In Limassol, two were arrested for assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, public insult, causing disturbance, and possession of an offensive weapon and illegal property. Checks were also carried out on premises and the road network, resulting in over 70 traffic violations and the seizure of 4 cars and a stolen motorcycle. These operations are part of a broader and continuously strengthened preventative plan by the Police.
