The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) closed on Friday with a slight gain of 0.33%, reaching 262.84 points. However, on a weekly basis, the General Index recorded losses of 1.5%. Simultaneously, the FTSE/CySE 20 Index showed marginal gains of 0.08%, closing at 159.10 points, while the daily trading volume reached €292,555.66. Of the sectoral indices, the Alternative Market rose by 1.16%, Hotels by 2.36%, and Investments by 1.43%. In contrast, the Main Market recorded marginal losses of 0.04%. The highest investment interest was observed in the shares of Pandora Investments, Bank of Cyprus, Demetra Holdings, Logicom, and Net Info. In total, nine shares moved upwards, three downwards, and six remained stable. The total number of transactions reached 141. The rise of Pandora Investments was particularly significant, reaching 9.43%, while Logicom recorded a decrease of 5.63%. The market, despite the slight daily gain, closed the week with a negative sign, indicating a cautious attitude from investors. The performance of the individual indices and the activity in specific titles show a differentiated picture in the market, with some sectors showing resilience and others being affected by external factors.
