Cyprus Taxi Union Announces 24-Hour Strike

The Pan-Cypriot Taxi Union (POAT) is escalating its measures by announcing a 24-hour strike for tomorrow, Tuesday, from 6 am to Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 6 am. The strike was decided due to the lack of response to POAT's demands from the relevant authorities. If the demands are not met, POAT warns of an indefinite strike starting on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Taxi drivers will gather at Larnaca and Paphos airports, as well as in Limassol (Potamos Germasogeias parking area).
