DIKO Nominates Stavros Alambritis as a By-Election Candidate in Nicosia

The Democratic Party (DIKO) has announced the nomination of businessman Stavros Alambritis as a by-election candidate for the upcoming parliamentary elections in the Nicosia district. Alambritis is the founder and President of the Association of Small Businesses and the Self-Employed. The President of DIKO, Nikola Papadopoulos, stated that Alambritis has dedicated his life to promoting the interests of small and medium-sized enterprises, which form the backbone of the Cypriot economy. The party aims to empower these businesses to compete at an international level. Stavros Alambritis, for his part, emphasized that his life is devoted to public affairs and supporting small businesses and the self-employed, who represent approximately 230,000 jobs in Cyprus. He expressed his belief that, through the ranks of DIKO, the struggles for strengthening the Cypriot economy and promoting the interests of small businesses will bear fruit.
