Elderly Couple Terrorized in Larnaca Home Invasion

Elderly residents in Larnaca experienced terrifying moments when an unknown man broke into their home, threatening them with a knife and robbing them of their money and mobile phones. The incident occurred yesterday afternoon in a prefabricated house in a rural area. The perpetrator knocked on the door and, after the residents opened it, pushed them and threatened them with a knife, stealing a sum of money and two mobile phones. The elderly residents, aged 73 and 66, were not injured but were taken to the hospital for examination as a precaution and were discharged. The police have located the mobile phones in the area of the residence and are investigating to identify and arrest the perpetrator. The case is being treated as armed robbery.
