ENAVSMA Foundation Awards Scholarships for Postgraduate Studies

The ENAVSMA Foundation has continued its provision of scholarships for postgraduate studies, having distributed a total of 37 scholarships over the past three years, with a total amount exceeding 180,000 euros. These scholarships were funded by sponsors who were honored at a special event. The foundation's goal is to support young people facing financial difficulties who wish to continue their studies. The president of the foundation, Natasha Michailidou, emphasized the importance of supporting the dreams and efforts of young people. In 2025, ENAVSMA recorded a record of 17 scholarships, and for 2026 it aims for more than 20. The foundation operates with five volunteer members on the Board of Directors and does not employ permanent staff, relying on collaboration with Non-Governmental Organizations. The members of the Board of Directors are Natasha Michailidou (President), Leontios Tselepos (Vice-President), Savvas Savvidis (Secretary), Giorgos Charalambous (Treasurer), and Dr. Marianna Prokopi Dimitriadi (Member). The selection process for candidates is based on the criteria of the State Scholarships Foundation, with applications starting in May 2026. The Deputy Minister of Culture, Vasiliki Kassiandou, praised the foundation's contribution to strengthening young people and education, emphasizing that such initiatives are an investment in human capital and the future of Cyprus. During the event, long-standing sponsors and supporters of the foundation were honored for their significant contribution. Among the awardees were Charalambidis – Christis, Kawacom’s, Eurobank, Kafekopteio G. Charalambous – Ahmad Tea London, Annabelle Hotel and Amyth Hotel, Piraeus Bank, IPH Iakovos Photiades Group, Mototrend, Scaffolding Solutions, NetU, Cyprofruits Citrus Trading, Akavo Cosmetics, Aspris Quality Fruits & Vegetables, Klinete, StMountains and Meat4Meat, as well as the organizations YPARCHO, 3X3 Cyprus and Human Talks, and the universities European University Cyprus, CIM – Cyprus Business School and Frederick University.
