The Turkish Cypriot leader, Erhurman, stated that the safety and well-being of the “people” is the top priority, and while there is currently no worrying situation, they are not complacent. He emphasized the importance of preparing for any possible scenario and stated that security forces, the civil defense organization, and the police are monitoring developments. He also considers it necessary to review supply scenarios, especially regarding fuel. Erhurman referred to the warnings he had made about developments on the Greek Cypriot side and reiterated his call for diplomacy and dialogue to restore peace in the region.
