ETEK Expresses Satisfaction with New Electromechanical Installations Regulations

ETEK expressed its satisfaction with the publication of the new electromechanical installations regulations, which it described as a significant step in modernizing the construction sector. The new regulations lay a stronger foundation for improving the control and quality of buildings, enhancing safety, upgrading the role of engineers, and promoting energy-efficient buildings. According to the new regulations, the preparation of a study becomes mandatory for all new developments, as well as the supervision of the installations by the design engineer. In addition, the operation of a Register of ETEK Designers and Supervising Engineers is foreseen, with strict requirements for registration and professional training. ETEK states that it is in continuous consultation with the Ministry of Interior for the smooth implementation of the new regulations, emphasizing that the regulations lay the foundations for a safer, more quality, and sustainable environment in the construction sector.
