Fire Department Responds to Multiple Incidents, Including Boiler Fire

The Fire Department remained at a heightened level of operational activity last week, responding to a total of 203 incidents. In the last 24 hours, it handled 33 incidents, including 24 fires, 8 special services, and 1 false alarm. One of the incidents involved a fire in a central heating boiler in a residence in Palouriotissa. The fire was brought under control using water hoses, and there was no risk to human life. Three fire engines responded to the incident.
