Cyprus has recorded its first flu-related death of the current season, with a patient in a state hospital succumbing to the illness. Simultaneously, there is an increase in hospital admissions for flu patients, causing concern among health authorities. The spokesperson for the Cyprus Public Health Service (OKYpY), Charalambos Charilaou, stated that the victim belonged to a vulnerable population group.
