Flash Floods Hit Australia, Cars Swept into the Sea

A severe thunderstorm has hit the state of Victoria in Australia, causing flash floods and forcing authorities to close the Great Ocean Road. Cars have been swept into the sea and thousands of residents have been left without power. Authorities issued an emergency warning for towns along the road, urging residents to stay home due to dangerous conditions. A large section of the road is closed in both directions, and reports indicate that 6,500 homes are without electricity. Rescuers are assisting people trapped in their vehicles. The road was also closed a few days ago due to bushfires.
