Fuel Prices Rise in Cyprus Due to Iran Conflict

The President of the Pan-Cypriot Association of Petrol Station Owners, Savvas Prokopiou, announced a 10-12% increase in fuel prices since Friday, due to the conflict in Iran. However, he emphasized that this increase is smaller compared to the one observed at the start of the war in Ukraine in 2022. Mr. Prokopiou estimated that if the price of a barrel of oil remains below $80, it will be a positive sign for price stabilization. He also stated that the increases will be reflected in petrol station prices over the next 10 days.
