Greek Patriots Intercept Iranian Ballistic Missiles in Saudi Arabia

Greek Patriot air defense systems, deployed in Saudi Arabia as part of a mission to strengthen the country's air defense, intercepted two Iranian ballistic missiles heading towards Saudi oil refineries. The successful interception was confirmed by the Greek Ministry of National Defense and Defense Minister Nikos Dendias. Saudi Arabia had earlier reported the downing of a ballistic missile heading towards the city of Yanbu, which hosts a major oil refinery. Yanbu is at the center of Iranian air attacks, but the impact of recent attacks has been limited.
