Harmonized Inflation in Cyprus at 0.94% in February

Harmonized inflation in Cyprus stood at 0.94% in February 2026 on an annual basis, remaining virtually unchanged on a monthly basis, according to the Statistical Service of Cyprus. The largest increases were recorded in the categories of Recreation, Sports and Culture (5.4%) and Restaurants and Accommodation Services (4.9%), while the largest decreases were in Clothing and Footwear (-6.2%) and Housing, Water Supply, Electricity, Natural Gas and Other Fuels (-3.5%). Compared to January 2026, the largest increase was recorded in Clothing and Footwear (0.8%), while Housing showed a decrease (0.5%). Energy recorded the largest annual decrease (-8.4%), while Services increased by 4.2%. For the first two months of 2026, the overall HICP recorded an increase of 1.08% compared to the corresponding period of 2025.
