Man Handcuffed for Thefts in Limassol. Stolen Goods Found at His Home

Police in Limassol have arrested a 36-year-old man in connection with theft and illegal possession of property. The arrest was made as part of an investigation into the theft of power tools on January 2, 2026. An arrest warrant had been issued against the 36-year-old based on witness testimony. During a search of his home, police discovered stolen watches and power tools, including the tool stolen in the aforementioned case. In addition, two trailer vehicles (truck beds) were found that had been reported as stolen. The 36-year-old was re-arrested for the offenses of illegal possession and receiving stolen goods, as he was unable to provide satisfactory explanations for the origin of the stolen items. The case is being investigated by the Polemidion Police Station and the Limassol Minor Offenses Department.
