Mitsotakis: Meeting with Erdogan Expected in Early February

He emphasized that Greece will insist on the delimitation of maritime zones as the sole topic of discussion and called on Turkey to abandon its unfounded claims. At the same time, he stressed the importance of cooperation on issues such as migration. The Prime Minister also referred to the arrival of the 'Kimon' frigate, characterizing it as an investment in the country's security and the strengthening of the Armed Forces. He negatively commented on a statement by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, emphasizing that Albania's path to Europe passes through Greece. Finally, he referred to the case of OPEKEPE and the Mercosur agreement, assuring the protection of Greek products.
