Netanyahu Accepts Trump's Invitation to Join 'Peace Council' for Gaza

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accepted an invitation from US President Donald Trump to join the 'Peace Council' for Gaza. The Council, which will include global leaders, aims to resolve conflicts and promote stability in the region. The Council was initially designed for the reconstruction of Gaza, but its charter is broader and allows for permanent membership with a financial contribution of up to $1 billion. Netanyahu has expressed objections to the participation of Turkey and Qatar in the Council. At the same time, the establishment of an 'Executive Council of Gaza' with the participation of representatives from Turkey and Qatar has been announced, which has also provoked reactions from Netanyahu. In addition, a committee of Palestinian technocrats has been set up to oversee the administration of Gaza. France's participation in the Council is uncertain, as the country has already expressed reservations. The creation of the Council represents a new effort to resolve the crisis in Gaza, with its prospects currently unknown.
