No Comment from European Public Prosecutor's Office on Pheidiás Panayiotou

The European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) is not commenting on the case of MEP Pheidiás Panayiotou, following its established practice of protecting investigations. According to a spokesperson for the EPPO, in response to a question from KYPE, the service does not comment on ongoing investigations, nor does it publicly confirm which cases it is handling, in order to avoid jeopardizing the outcome of the procedures. The EPPO will only make statements if it decides to do so, on its own initiative. This policy aims to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the service's investigations.
