Police Operations Lead to Seven Arrests Across Cyprus

Police conducted extensive preventative operations throughout Cyprus overnight, aiming to prevent criminal activities and ensure public order. A total of seven individuals were arrested for various offenses. In Limassol, a 23-year-old was arrested after a chase, with drugs and offensive items found in his possession, and a kilogram of cannabis discovered at his home. Four others were arrested in the same province for carrying a knife, illegal possession of property, assault on a police officer, and outstanding arrest warrants. Additionally, two individuals were arrested in the provinces of Larnaca and Paphos for outstanding court issues. Simultaneously, checks were carried out on premises and the road network, resulting in over 110 traffic violations and the seizure of vehicles, including a stolen motorcycle. These operations are part of a broader and continuously strengthened preventative plan by the Police.
