South Korean President Lee Arrives in Beijing for Official Visit

South Korean President Lee Jae-Myung arrived in Beijing today for a four-day official visit to China. He is accompanied by more than 200 South Korean businesspeople, and discussions are expected to focus on issues such as investment in the supply chain, the digital economy, and cultural exchanges. Lee will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping, in an unusually short period between the two meetings, indicating China's interest in strengthening economic cooperation. The visit takes place during a period of heightened global tensions, with recent ballistic missile launches by North Korea and military actions by the United States.
