Low pressure and a cold air mass are affecting the region, with weak high pressure expected tonight. Isolated showers and some snow are forecast for the higher mountains, with the weather becoming partly cloudy. Winds will be northwesterly to northerly, moderate to strong, gradually weakening. The temperature will drop to 4 degrees inland, 8 degrees on the west and north coasts, 6 degrees on the south and east coasts, and -4 degrees in the mountains, where frost will prevail. Tomorrow the weather will be mainly clear with northwesterly winds and the temperature will rise to 13 degrees inland and 15 degrees on the coasts, while in the mountains it will reach 3 degrees. Periods of partly cloudy weather with the possibility of local showers and light snowfall in the mountains are expected on Friday and Saturday. The snow depth in Troodos is currently 32 centimeters.
