Trump Warns Hamas: 'Will Pay a High Price' if it Doesn't Disarm

US President Donald Trump warned Hamas that it would face a 'high price' if it does not disarm soon, as stipulated in the peace plan for Gaza. During a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump stated that Israel is adhering to the plan, while expressing his expectation for Hamas to disarm within a reasonable timeframe. He also emphasized that he has no concerns about Israel's actions, but about the behavior of other actors. He also referred to Israel-Turkey relations and predicted the possible inclusion of Saudi Arabia in the Abraham Accords. Trump also warned that the US will not allow Iran to rearm, highlighting the loss of 'prestige and power' suffered by Tehran after the US and Israeli strikes on its nuclear facilities. However, he stated he was open to talks with Iran. Regarding Hezbollah, he described it as an organization that 'behaves badly' and expects Lebanon's efforts to disarm it. Netanyahu expressed Israel's desire to have peaceful borders with Syria, while Trump expressed his belief that Netanyahu and Syrian President Ahmed al-Sara 'will get along' and pledged to contribute to this. Finally, Trump said he was not worried about China's military exercises around Taiwan, expressing the view that Chinese President Xi Jinping would not launch an invasion of the island.
