Police Vehicle Stolen from Foot-and-Mouth Disease Checkpoint

Unknown individuals stole a police vehicle from a foot-and-mouth disease checkpoint in Aradippou. The vehicle, a van, was on static duty when a suspect entered and drove away with it. A police officer who noticed the theft pursued the perpetrator in a private vehicle and located the van in a parking lot in Larnaca. The perpetrator had abandoned the vehicle and fled. Investigations are underway to locate and arrest the perpetrator.
