Drivers Beware: Frost and Snow in Troodos Area – Which Roads are Affected

Traffic warnings have been issued for the Troodos area due to dense fog, snowfall and frost. The roads Platron – Troodos, Karvounas – Troodos and Prodromou – Troodos are open only to vehicles equipped with anti-slip chains or four-wheel drive. Drivers are urged to be particularly careful, maintain safe distances and have their headlights on. In addition, due to landslides, one lane of traffic on the road from Agia Marina Xyliatou to Kannavia has been closed, requiring extra caution.
