Starmer Condemns 'Deeply Shocking' Antisemitic Attack in London

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has condemned a “deeply shocking antisemitic attack” in London, referring to the arson attack against four ambulances belonging to the Jewish community. Police are investigating the incident as a hate crime, which occurred in Golders Green. The ambulances belonged to Hatzola, a volunteer medical emergency service. The London Fire Brigade responded with six fire engines and 40 firefighters, and neighboring homes were evacuated as a precaution. The fire was brought under control at 05:06 Cyprus time. The incident comes amid a period of increased antisemitic attacks worldwide following the Hamas attacks on Israel in October 2023.
