Meteorological Department: Warning for Strong Winds up to 7 Beaufort until Afternoon

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for strong winds up to 7 Beaufort, which will mainly affect the southern and intermittently the northern coasts of Cyprus, from 12:00 to 18:00 on Sunday. The sea is expected to be rough to very rough, and authorities are urging citizens, especially maritime professionals, to be particularly careful. At the same time, low pressure is affecting the marine area of Cyprus, causing cloudiness and local showers or thunderstorms until Monday morning. Visibility will generally be good, but will be reduced during rainfall. Sparse dust will be suspended in the atmosphere until noon. The sea temperature is estimated at 18 degrees Celsius.
